Exporting Reports

Exporting your group report as a PDF

How to download a PDF of your group's finances for the cycle you're viewing, so you can share it at meetings, at share-out, or keep it for your records.

What you can export

You can download a Group Report as a PDF. It shows the financial state of your group for the cycle you're currently viewing in the app. The PDF is laid out in landscape, so it is easy to read on a phone, share, or print.

The numbers in the PDF come from the same figures you see on the Reports page, so the two always agree.

One cycle at a time: the report covers the cycle you're currently viewing. To export a different cycle, switch to it first. Learn more on the Cycles page.
Individual Report Coming soon A personal PDF showing one member's own totals is on the way. You'll see it listed on the download screen, but it can't be downloaded yet.

Who can export

The Group Report is for group officials: the Secretary, Chairperson, and Treasurer. Members will be able to download their own Individual Report once it is released. Learn more about what each role can do on the Roles & Permissions page.

Downloading

How to download your report

  1. Open the Reports page and make sure the Group tab is selected. The download button is only shown on the Group tab.
  2. Tap the round download button in the corner of the screen. This opens the download screen for the cycle you're viewing.
  3. Tap the report you want to download. Table Banking and Merry-Go-Round groups see one report. Hybrid groups see two buttons, one for the Table Banking report and one for the Merry-Go-Round report.
  4. Wait a moment while your PDF is prepared, then choose where to send it. Your phone's share options open, so you can save the file or send it through any app you already use, such as WhatsApp or email.
Inside the report

What's in the report

The pages in your PDF depend on your group type. Some columns also depend on the contribution types you chose during group setup, so a column only appears if your group uses that fund.

Table Banking
Three sections:
  • Summary: key totals for the cycle, such as total pool funds, outstanding loans, and repayment rate, plus how cash at hand compares with loans still out, and a breakdown of your funds.
  • Loan Register: loans taken, interest, penalties, amounts paid, and balances, with totals. Only members who still owe a balance are listed.
  • End Cycle Summary: one row per member showing their starting capital, shares, social fund, fines, loan balance, total owed, dividend, and payout.
Merry-Go-Round
Two sections, with no loans page because these groups don't issue loans:
  • Summary: total collected and paid out, how many members have received their payout and how many are still waiting, and rotation progress. Fines are shown if your group uses them.
  • End Cycle Summary: one row per member showing what they contributed, the payout they received, their payout status, the period paid, and any unpaid fines.
Hybrid
Two separate PDFs: one Table Banking report and one Merry-Go-Round report, each with the pages described here.
  • Keeping them separate means each report stays clear and readable, even when your group has many contribution fields turned on.
  • Download each one from its own button on the download screen.

Good to know

  • The number of pages depends on how many members your group has. Long member lists continue onto extra pages.
  • If you change anything on the Reports page, such as recording a late contribution, download the report again to get the latest figures.
  • Each page is labelled with its section name and carries the Kosalo support contact details at the bottom.
